The intersection of epidemiology, education, kidney health, and health economics effectively addresses the burden of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Epidemiology provides data on CKD's prevalence, incidence, and risk factors, while kidney health education aims to raise public awareness and promote healthy lifestyles to prevent the disease and improve management for those already affected. Health economics examines the costs linked to CKD, including renal replacement therapy (RRT), and their impact on health systems, enabling better resource allocation and assessment of intervention effectiveness.
